To be considered by our Selection Committee, applications submitted in the framework of the Call for Solutions must meet the following seven criteria

  • Be submitted by an organization and not an individual.
  • Be led by at least two people who confirm their availability to present the project throughout the duration of the Forum (11-12 November 2026).
  • Be aligned with one of the themes of the 2026 Call for Solutions.
  • Present a level of advancement at least in the pilot phase with some implementation underway (may be preliminary), not just in the design or start-up phases.
  • Involve a specific, tangible, and distinct action, which excludes the following: academic research; work in the form of ideas without a plan for implementation; general frameworks; organizational programs rather than specific solutions.
  • Have an international dimension, or, at least, for local or national initiatives, involve actors or resources from other countries, and possess potential for credible international action.
  • Do not apply with the aim of requesting funding from the Paris Peace Forum. The Paris Peace Forum does not finance projects
How are projects selected?

Eligible projects are assessed by an independent Selection Committee of experts who base their decision-making on the selection criteria found in the 2026 Rules and Regulations

In addition to evaluating the general quality of the project and its relevance to the priorities and approach of the Paris Peace Forum, the Selection Committee will also consider geographic, functional, and thematic diversity in its review and selection.

Does the Paris Peace Forum fund projects?

The Paris Peace Forum does not finance projects (including projects presented at the event and projects supported as part of the SCUP program).

Do I Have to Pay to take part in the Call for Solutions?

Applying to our Call for Solutions is free of charge.

If selected, what fees will I have to pay to be showcased at the Paris Peace Forum?

Should your project be selected, you will be asked to pay participation fee of 1,200 pre-tax. Project leaders should also plan to cover travel and accommodation costs for their trip to Paris.

If I have difficulties in financing my project’s participation in the event, can I receive financial support?

The Paris Peace Forum may provide financial support to selected project leaders who are unable to cover the costs of participating in the Forum (€1,200 participation fees, transportation, and/or accommodation).

While the Paris Peace Forum cannot guarantee favorable responses to all financial assistance requests, priority will be given to requests submitted by project leaders working in organizations of modest financial means, especially those from countries in the Global South, whose participation in the Forum would require a significant mobilization of financial resources.

When are information sessions about the 2026 Call for Solutions being held?

The Forum was pleased to host two online information sessions (in English) about the 2026 Call for Solutions :

How is the Scale-up Program related to the Call for Solutions?

Each year, ten of the projects selected through the Call for Solutions and showcased at the annual Forum are chosen to receive a year of non-financial, capacity-building support via the Scale-up Program (SCUP).

The SCUP is an accelerator that mobilizes expert mentorship and resources from within the PPF Secretariat and its global community to help strengthen and grow solutions by amplifying their impact.

Applying to the SCUP is an optional opportunity presented exclusively to selected projects once their participation in the 2026 Forum is confirmed. Project leaders will not be asked to apply to the SCUP in their initial Call for Solutions application.
