9th edition
10-11 November 2026
Joining forces on what matters most
From conflicts to technological upheavals, the cost of going it alone in today’s world has become unsustainable.
We foot the bill every day: the rising cost of living, climate disruption, massive cyberattacks, the AI threat to jobs. All are consequences of global disorder that weaken our states’ capacity to act, fuel anger and fragment our societies.
Faced with these problems, wanting to regain control is legitimate. But no country, however powerful, can claim to do so alone. To secure our supplies, scale up innovation, respond to crises, we depend on one another. To aspire to sovereignty is also to accept to cooperate.
If the traditional international cooperation frameworks are deadlocked, we can and must invent new ones. Partners are out there: states, businesses and citizens stand ready to seek out and put into practice concrete, pragmatic solutions for cooperation.
By bringing them together every year since 2018, the Paris Peace Forum offers a place to meet, debate and act, one from which powerful initiatives emerge, from the digital sphere to critical minerals, from agriculture to the fight against disinformation.
Childhood at the heart of the 9th edition
This year, on the occasion of the Child Summit, the Forum will turn to a subject that unites the whole world: childhood.
Our children, the AI generation, are growing up alongside technologies whose real effects on their development no one has yet been able to gauge. Securing their future requires both safeguarding the essentials (education, health, nutrition) and protecting their well-being in the face of screens and algorithms. To invest in childhood is to invest in peace.
On this subject, as on every other in its ninth edition, the Paris Peace Forum’s ambition remains the same: to rise above what divides us and prove, through action, that we can still stand together on what matters most.
