Project Summary

MySun is a digital infrastructure layer designed to unlock green financing for SMEs and households in Sub-Saharan Africa. While the technical potential for renewables is vast, a "data-financing gap" prevents local banks from lending to those who need it most. Our solution utilizes industrial IoT and the Kinetic platform to turn renewable assets into bankable data points, de-risking the transition for both traditional banks and end-users.

To date, we have deployed 500+ systems in Cameroon, transitioning users from costly fossil fuels to reliable, digital-first solar. By partnering with local banks (NFC, Afriland) and government bodies (MINEE), we are scaling a "tripartite" model where technical performance serves as collateral. Our long-term objective is a decentralized, AI-monitored grid where local communities are energy-independent producers driving a fair transition.

Presentation of the Organization

SunWorks is a technical social enterprise digitizing the energy transition in Africa. Our mission is to bridge the "data-financing gap" by turning renewable infrastructure into bankable assets through industrial IoT and AI monitoring. As the creator of the MySun and Kinetic platforms, we provide the digital architecture enabling banks to lend against solar performance. We act as the project lead, managing the tripartite ecosystem between banks, contractors, and end-users.
