Project Summary

In response to the collapse of the education system in the Gaza Strip, Super-Novae is setting up two temporary learning spaces to provide children displaced by the conflict with safe access to informal education and psychosocial support. The project is targeting 240 children per day, at least 50% of whom are be girls, through catch-up classes, recreational activities, and emotional support approaches adapted to the realities of war.

Super-Novae is building this initiative on its experience in Gaza since 2023 by mobilizing nine local teachers and facilitators through a cash-for-work scheme, strengthening the resilience of both children and affected communities.

Presentation of the Organization

Super-Novae is a French NGO founded in 2021, specializing in the stabilization of areas affected by conflict and natural disasters. Active in Palestine, Libya, Syria, Yemen, and Sudan, it implements projects focused on economic resilience, protection, education, and recovery, with support from European and international donors.

In Gaza, the organization works at the heart of the humanitarian-development-peace nexus, strengthening services, social cohesion, and the economic resilience of Palestinians.
