At a time of great uncertainty for Afghanistan’s future, the protection of women’s rights has been a central talking point for all actors in the country and is essential to any potential future peace processes. This project showcases a method that has proven successful in engaging women and men from a variety of backgrounds across the country to understand the specific issues women face and how they can be addressed at the local and national levels.
