40 projects from around the world at the 9th edition of the Paris Peace Forum

Paris, September 8th 2026 — Forty projects offering concrete, on-the-ground solutions to some of the world's most pressing challenges have been chosen by an international selection committee to be showcased at the 9th annual edition of the Paris Peace Forum, planned on 10 and 11 November 2026 in the French capital.

The winners were selected from a total of 607 applications submitted from more than 90 countries. From Ukraine and Colombia, to Lebanon and Sudan, they represent local community groups as well as international networks and public institutions. The projects cover the eight themes chosen for this year's call:

Climate & Environment

  • Harnessing Local Solutions for a Fair Energy Transition and Responsible Minerals Supply (6 projects)
  • Combating Plastic Pollution for Ocean Resilience (6 projects)
  • Catalyzing Youth Impact for Urban Climate Adaptation (2 projects)

Development & Health

  • Expanding Smallholder Access to Agricultural Innovation (6 projects)
  • Centering Child Wellbeing in Health and Nutrition (4 projects)

Peace & Security

  • Safeguarding Information Integrity for Peace and Security (6 projects)
  • Sustaining Essential Services and Social Infrastructure in Conflict (4 projects)

New Technologies

  • Growing Equitable AI Literacy and Skilling for the Future of Work and Education (6 projects).

These projects will take center stage in the dedicated Space for Solutions at the Forum, where their representatives will have the opportunity to meet world leaders, innovators, funders and the media. Ten of them will also be chosen by the selection committee to join the next cohort of the Forum's Scale-up (SCUP) program, which offers a year of tailored mentorship and capacity-building to help them reach their next strategic milestone. The ten projects selected for the program will be revealed during the Forum, on 10-11 November 2026.
