Women leadership in sahel

The Women's Leadership Program for Inclusive Security Governance in the Sahel is an innovative and collaborative initiative that aims to strengthen the voice of women from civil society in the governance of security issues that affect them and their communities through the establishment of a pool of women experts. The project tackles, in Mali, Niger and Burkina Faso, a dual issue of global governance: on the one hand, gender inequalities and their impact on the participation of women in public affairs; on the other hand, issues of peace and security, in particular the necessary involvement of civilians through a human security prism and a sensitive approach to participation, dialogue with institutions, and democratic control of public action.
