Seeking Innovative Projects: Launch of the Paris Peace Forum’s 2026 Call for Solutions

Paris, April 7th, 2026 – The Paris Peace Forum launched on April 3rd its 2026 Call for Solutions, inviting private and public organizations, governments, and civil society actors to submit concrete and innovative projects that address today’s major challenges. Applications are open via the dedicated platform until May 25th 2026.

The Paris Peace Forum is launching its annual Call for Solutions in the run-up to the 9th Edition of the Forum, which will take place in Paris on November 11-12th, 2026. The Call for Solutions aims to identify and support concrete and multi-stakeholder initiatives addressing the most pressing challenges in governance and international cooperation. The eight themes selected for this year reflect the Forum’s core priorities, as well as those of the French presidency of the G7:

Climate & Environment

  • Harnessing Local Solutions for a Fair Energy Transition and Responsible Minerals Supply
  • Catalyzing Youth Impact for Urban Climate Adaptation
  • Combating Plastic Pollution for Ocean Resilience

Development & Health

  • Expanding Smallholder Access to Agricultural Innovation
  • Centering Child Wellbeing in Health and Nutrition

Peace & Security

  • Safeguarding Information Integrity for Peace and Security
  • Sustaining Essential Services and Social Infrastructure in Conflict

New Technologies

  • Growing Equitable AI Literacy and Skilling for the Future of Work and Education

Since 2018, the Paris Peace Forum has supported nearly 600 innovative solutions  led by over 2,000 project leaders which form an active international community of innovation and mutual support.

International exposure and customized support for the selected projects

The selected projects will gain international visibility during the 9th edition of the Paris Peace Forum this coming November, with a dedicated space in the Space for Solutions, a speaking opportunity and networking opportunities with key experts and decision-makers. The ten most promising initiatives of the final selection will benefit from the Forum’s Scale-Up Program (SCUP), an accelerator providing a year-long customized and transformational support from high-level mentors and the Forum’s Secretariat.

Projects must be submitted by an organization rather than an individual. Eligible applicants include : NGOs, businesses, states or governments, international organizations, think tanks, universities, trade unions, media organizations, etc. Projects must already be underway or in the start-up phase and must demonstrate a measurable impact. Applications must be submitted online, in French or English, via the dedicated platform, from 3 April to 25 May 2026 at 11:55 p.m. Paris time.

Two online information sessions will be organized to assist applicants with the process: on 29 April 2026 from 2pm to 3pm CET and on 19 May 2026 from 2pm to 3pm CET.
