Project Summary

AquaSol for Equity is a Green Hope Foundation youth-led initiative delivering safe drinking water to climate-vulnerable communities in Cambodia and Kiribati through fully off-grid, solar-powered purification systems. Designed for remote regions beyond the reach of conventional infrastructure, the project transforms contaminated river, rain, and brackish water into safe drinking water while operating entirely on renewable energy, while building local resilience by training youth to manage systems and lead WASH education within their communities. The initiative has reduced waterborne illnesses by up to 50%, improved school attendance, especially among girls, and strengthened climate resilience for thousands of people. AquaSol for Equity offers a scalable model advancing health, equity, and sustainable development in some of the world’s most vulnerable regions.
