Scaling Regenerative Agriculture

Project Summary

Our solution empowers 100,000+ smallholder farmers in climate-vulnerable, rainfed regions of India to adopt regenerative agriculture and revive traditional, nutrient-dense crops (millets, ragi, black soybean).

Through an AI-driven agronomy platform and field-based advisory network, we improve soil health, stabilize yields, and boost farmer incomes by connecting them directly to climate-conscious corporates, plant-based start-ups, exporters, and sustainable retailers. To date, we have restored 850,000+ acres, resolved 1.3 million+ advisory queries, and facilitated 4,000+ fair-trade transactions.

Our long-term objective is to scale to 10 million farmers, restore 50 million acres, and catalyze a global shift toward climate-resilient food systems. Key partners include Government of India, Farmer Producer Organizations, IIM Kashipur, and impact investors.

Presentation of the Organization

Wayfield Agricultural Technology Pvt. Ltd. is an Agri-Climate Tech startup on a mission to empower smallholder farmers with data-driven regenerative agriculture. We develop an AI-powered digital agronomy platform, deliver hands-on soil health services and training, and create market linkages for traditional crops. As the project host, we onboard farmers, partner with FPOs and buyers, and mobilize green finance to scale sustainable, inclusive food systems.
