The Paris Peace Forum is a multi-stakeholder platform launched in 2018 that aims to respond to global challenges. Throughout the year, the Forum works to strengthen the governance of global commons such as climate, space or oceans, and to improve international management of global challenges, particularly those of digital and disruptive technologies. Its annual event, in November, brings together heads of state, government and international organizations, as well as leaders of civil society and the private sector, to discuss political initiatives and concrete projects, with an emphasis on the participation of the global South.

The team of the permanent secretariat of the association, composed of varied and diverse profiles (diplomacy, public relations, communication, programming, operations, etc.), is currently looking for a “Partnership Officer” in order to reinforce its fundraising and partnerships department ahead of the 9th edition of its annual event (10–11 November). This department is responsible for (1) mobilising the resources enabling the PPF to fund its general budget and the budgets of its policy initiatives, and (2) coordinating within the Secretariat the implementation of the commitments made across the various policy areas addressed by the PPF.

Working closely with the Partnerships Director and the Partnerships Managers, he or she will be responsible for the following tasks:

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

1/ Support department managers in implementing the event-related benefits offered to partners:

  • Coordinate partners’ participation in the programme of sessions for the 9th edition of the PPF, in particular:
    • Co-design partner events during the Forum: panel discussions, round tables, workshops and other events, in consultation with our philanthropic, governmental and corporate donor partners, and in liaison with the other departments concerned;
    • Support partners during the Forum to ensure these contributions are delivered.
  • Coordinate and contribute to cross-functional projects involving partners, in particular:
    • Prepare partners’ participation in the Forum: manage registrations (protocol), issue invitations to high-level social events on the fringes of the Forum (dinners, receptions), in consultation with the other departments concerned;
    • Establish and manage a ‘concierge service’ to facilitate contact between high-level participants during the Forum (bilateral meetings), in conjunction with the public relations department.

 

2/ Support the Partnerships team in their fundraising activities. This support may be provided on an ad hoc basis or throughout the duration of the project, and will involve fundraising activities (research, preparing briefs, drafting reports), drawing up partnership agreements, or reporting:

  • Assist with drafting reports for donors: prepare and submit funding applications, including coordinating and formatting all required administrative, financial and due diligence documents;
  • Ensure the partners database is kept up to date:
    • Verify and update data;
    • Monitor new developments;
    • Coordinate its effective use during events.

 

PROFILE

  • Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree (Bac +3) or higher
  • 4 years of relevant experience in fund raising and management of high-profile interlocutors
  • Proficiency in English and French, both written and oral (C2 level or equivalent required) ;
  • Mastery of office software (Microsoft Office Suite) and digitally savvy.

CONDITIONS

Full-time, fixed-term contract till December 11th, 2026 with a starting date as soon as possible.

Meal tickets and reimbursement of 50% of the cost of transportation.

Salary: 3 000 euros gross /month

The offices of the permanent secretariat of the Paris Peace Forum are located in Paris (15th arrondissement). It will be possible to telecommute for a maximum of 2 days per week, subject to approval by management.
