In a quest of working toward youth, the Delegation of the European Union to India with GIZ, CEEW and TERI launched the Youth Climate Conclave (YCC) in 2019. YCC was envisaged as a competitive and educative mode of action, wherein youth from across the country were invited to join hands to address climate change issues. The programme was under the Strategic Partnership for Implementation of the Paris Agreement project, with Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change as the nodal ministry. So far, 3 editions were held where youth played a major role leading to a Youth Declaration and Youth Pledge as an outcome document and presented at WSDS 2020, Adaptation Futures 2020 and WSDS 2022. As a prelude to finals, photography, blogging and short video competitions were organized for 10-18 and 19-25 years old individuals.
