At various prestigious universities worldwide, academics and practitioners developed case studies covering a wide variation of topics in diplomatic practice. These case studies are unique learning tools for international relations students and diplomats as it offers a detailed overview of the key actors, the challenges and reasoning for the decision-making at crucial moments in diplomatic history. The project we propose would be a multi-media database with in-depth studies of diplomatic cases worldwide created for students, academics, diplomats and IR enthusiasts, called the E-DiploDocus. A case study will give pedagogical guidance on crucial moments in diplomatic history with the different perspectives of the various players. Each case study consists out of written component (article and infographics), a multi-media component (including videos & footages) and a quiz component to test the understanding of the case study of the member.
