The Paris Peace Forum is a multi-stakeholder platform launched in 2018 that aims to respond to global challenges through, in particular, a large-scale annual event. Throughout the year, the Forum works to strengthen the governance of global commons such as climate, space or oceans, and to improve international management of global challenges, particularly those of digital and disruptive technologies. Its annual event, in November, brings together heads of state, government and international organizations, as well as leaders of civil society and the private sector, to discuss political initiatives and concrete projects, with an emphasis on the participation of the global South.

The team of the permanent secretariat of the association, composed of varied and diverse profiles (diplomacy, public relations, communication, programming, operations, etc.), is currently looking for a “IT Project and Data Management Officer” to reinforce its teams.

The person recruited will be responsible for the following tasks:

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Monitoring the development and updating of IT tools:
  • Overseeing the development of the digital solutions used by the organisation:
    • Working with in-house teams and service providers to ensure that the tools remain relevant.
    • Identifying and reporting needs for improvements or corrections to functionalities.
  • Maintaining the database:
    • Ensuring the quality, consistency and updating of data.
    • Implementing regular database maintenance processes to ensure reliability.
    • Creating and maintaining clear database documentation.
  • Managing relations with service providers:
    • Maintaining a close relationship with technical service providers.
    • Monitoring service provider contracts, performance and delivery times.
    • Leading discussions to ensure that expectations and objectives are met.
  • Budget monitoring:
    • Managing the budget allocated to IT projects and associated services.
    • Monitoring expenditure and anticipating financial requirements in line with technological developments.
    • Producing clear reports for management.
  • Standardising RGPD lists:
    • Centralising, organising and standardising lists and documents relating to RGPD compliance.
    • Constantly monitoring the compliance of processed data.
    • Working closely with the DPO or legal teams to ensure compliance with regulations.

 

PROFILE

  • Education: Bac +3 to Bac +5
  • Areas of specialisation: IT, data management or project management.
  • Knowledge of database management tools (SQL, CRM, etc.).
  • Good understanding of RGPD concepts.
  • Mastery of budget monitoring and reporting tools.
  • Notions in IT development or IT project management (a plus).
  • Professional command of written and spoken English and French (C2 level or equivalent required).
  • Proficiency in office software (Microsoft Office package) and digital tools.

CONDITIONS

Full-time contract (CDI), starting as soon as possible.

50% reimbursement of:

The offices of the permanent secretariat of the Paris Peace Forum are located in Paris (15th arrondissement). It will be possible to telecommute for a maximum of 2 days per week, subject to approval by management.
