Internship - Agriculture Policy Program

The Paris Peace Forum is a multi-stakeholder platform launched in 2018, dedicated to addressing global challenges through large-scale annual events. Throughout the year, the Forum works to strengthen the governance of global commons—such as climate, space, and oceans—and improve international management of global issues, particularly in the digital and disruptive technology sectors.
Its annual event in October brings together heads of state, government officials, international organizations, civil society leaders, and private sector representatives to support political initiatives and concrete projects, with a strong emphasis on participation from the Global South.
The Secretariat team of the association, composed of professionals with diverse expertise (diplomacy, public policy, communication, programming, operations, protocol, etc.), is currently looking for an intern to support the agriculture program — particularly the ATLAS initiative (Agricultural Transitions Lab for African Solutions).
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the ATLAS team in preparing all Lab activities, expanding the North-South international coalition for sustainable agriculture, fundraising;
- Assist in organizing ATLAS events, including preparations for the 8th edition of the Paris Peace Forum;
- Monitor news related to African agriculture, conduct regular press reviews, and develop expertise on the topic to contribute to the preparation of ATLAS roundtables;
- Assist with communication tasks, particularly in managing the website, public relations, and general communication.
REQUIRED PROFILE
- Education level: Master’s degree (first or second year);
- Fields of study: International relations, public affairs, development, agriculture and nutrition, humanities, or social sciences;
- Languages: Professional proficiency in French and English (written and spoken, C1 level or equivalent required);
- Technical skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital tools.

CONDITIONS
- Full-time internship for 5-6 months, starting May 19, 2025.
- Internship agreement required.
- Compensation: €750 gross/month, 50% coverage of meal vouchers and public transportation.
- The Secretariat’s offices are located in Paris (15th arrondissement).
