Addressing inequalities and accelerating SDGs

Women are systematically marginalized and excluded from leadership and political and decision-making processes. Only 24% of the 12,113 parliamentarians in Africa are women and only 5% of the CEOs in the corporate world are women. The African Women Leadership Institute (AWLI) offers Feminist and Transformational Leadership training to African women, gender expansive persons and other marginalized people and equips them with knowledge and tools to dismantle patriarchy and other reinforcing systems of oppressions that perpetrate inequality in order to build an equitable, just and sustainable world for all persons.
