International cooperation still matters
Climate catastrophes won’t go away. Cyberattacks persist. Pandemics lie in wait. The need to feed a still-growing world population is here to stay. None of the cross-border challenges we face disappears because we reinforce borders or decide to focus on country first.
On the contrary: collective challenges are growing while the traditional venues for global dialogue are weakened and our tools of intervention are impoverished.
The good news is, there is still a reservoir of goodwill and appetite for international cooperation among actors from North and South, East and West, governments and civil society, business and academics. The Paris Peace Forum is the place we bring them together in new action coalitions.
This year's edition will be held slightly earlier in the year: please book 29-30 October in your calendars!
As always, our Forum is invitation-only, but we will be in touch with more information in the coming months as we announce the venue, the theme and then some of our first confirmed speakers.
Stay tuned!
