Projects Officer (F/M)
The Paris Peace Forum is a multi-stakeholder platform launched in 2018 that aims to respond to global challenges. Throughout the year, the Forum works to strengthen the governance of global commons such as climate, space or oceans, and to improve international management of global challenges, particularly those of digital and disruptive technologies. Its annual event, in November, brings together heads of state, government and international organizations, as well as leaders of civil society and the private sector, to discuss political initiatives and concrete projects, with an emphasis on the participation of the global South.
The team of the permanent secretariat of the association, composed of varied and diverse profiles (diplomacy, public relations, communication, programming, operations, etc.), is currently looking for a “Projects Officer” to reinforce its teams.
The person recruited will be responsible for the following tasks:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Working closely with the Projects Director, the Projects Officer will support the smooth running of the Projects division’s activities, in particular through the 2026 Call for Solutions, the preparation of the 9th edition of the Paris Peace Forum, the Scale-up programme (SCUP) and the coordination of the project community. This operational support will consist of the following tasks:
Supporting the 2026 Call for Solutions:
- Preparing the technical elements for the launch of the 2026 Call for Solutions;
- Coordinating the dissemination of the Call to our communities and contributing to information sessions;
- Ensuring the smooth running of the Selection Committee’s deliberation meeting;
- Preparing and following up on the public announcement of the selected projects;
- Organising the participation of project leaders in the event (logistics, grants, content collection, etc.);
- Ensure post-event follow-up: thank-you letters, review, database updates, preparation of content for the annual report, statistics and archiving.
Contribute to the SCUP 2026 programme:
- Participate in monthly calls with SCUP projects and take notes;
- Contribute to the preparation of the SCUP jury deliberation meeting and the launch of the cycle;
- Prepare evaluation questionnaires (launch, mid-term and end of cycle);
- Update the SCUP databases and compile statistics for the annual report.
Facilitate the community of project leaders from previous editions :
- Prepare and send the project leaders’ newsletter;
- Prepare and facilitate informal conversations and workshops;
- Identify other events relevant to the projects;
- Contribute to communication activities promoting the projects;
- Facilitate the community of project leaders on social media;
- Contribute to developing other activities.
Contribute to the overall smooth running of the Projects division:
- Manage the Projects division’s email inbox;
- Assist with planning, preparing, taking notes and following up on project-related meetings;
- Update internal data and information management tools;
And more generally, perform any other tasks assigned in relation to the portfolio and the smooth running of the Projects division.
PROFILE
- Education Level: Master’s Degree (Bac +5)
- Areas of specialisation: international relations, political science, international law, development, international cooperation, etc. Experience in community and/or capacity building would be an advantage.
- Fluent in French (mandatory), professional proficiency in English (level C2 or equivalent)
- Desired prior experience: at least two years’ experience in the field and/or within a government institution, multilateral organisation or NGO in the area of project management, in France or abroad; event logistics.

CONDITIONS
Full-time, fixed-term contract for a period of 10 months with a starting date of March 2nd, 2026.
Meal tickets and reimbursement of 50% of the cost of transportation.
The offices of the permanent secretariat of the Paris Peace Forum are located in Paris (15th arrondissement). It will be possible to telecommute for a maximum of 2 days per week, subject to approval by management.
