The Paris Peace Forum (PPF) is a multi-stakeholder platform launched in 2018 that aims to respond to global challenges through, in particular, a large-scale annual event. Throughout the year, the Forum works to strengthen the governance of global commons and to improve international management of global challenges. Its annual event, in November, brings together heads of state, government and international organizations, as well as leaders of civil society and the private sector, to discuss political initiatives and concrete projects, with an emphasis on the participation of the global South.

The association’s permanent secretariat team, is made up of a variety of multi-skilled professionals (diplomacy, public policy, communications, programming, operations, protocol, etc.)

To support our continued growth, the Paris Peace Forum is looking for two Senior Partnerships Managers to join its fundraising department:

 

  • Senior Partnerships Manager dedicated to Business
  • Senior Partnerships Manager dedicated to Institutions

 

These roles will report to the Director of Partnerships, who leads a dynamic four-person team responsible for raising public and private funds to finance the Paris Peace Forum’s budget. PPF’s activities are supported by a range of companies, governments, international organizations and philanthropies.

  • The Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager will be responsible for leading fundraising efforts with major corporations and managing a portfolio of private-sector partners, primarily based in France and the United States.

  • The Senior Institutional Partnerships Manager will be responsible for leading fundraising efforts and managing a diverse and evolving portfolio of international partners, including governments and public agencies, international organizations, philanthropies, and philanthropists (HNWIs).

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Prospecting:

 

  • Lead the development and implementation of the PPF’s fundraising strategy with:
    • Major French and international corporations.
    • International organizations, philanthropies and philanthropists.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the PPF’s overall fundraising and partnership strategy;
  • Identify new private funding opportunities, in France and internationally, to support the PPF’s general budget, the annual event, interim events, or specific programs and initiatives, particularly those related to the technology sector (cybersecurity and artificial intelligence);
  • Lead the preparation and drafting of prospecting tools, documents, and pitch materials—such as brochures, briefing notes, and talking points—intended for companies;
  • Represent the PPF and conduct corporate outreach (meetings, interviews, follow-ups) with a high degree of autonomy and, depending on the cases, in close coordination with PPF leadership and the relevant teams;
  • Prepare and support, when needed, PPF leadership and teams for high-level meetings in France and abroad;
  • Draft detailed and tailored partnership proposals in close collaboration with the teams in charge of policy initiatives, programming, and other PPF functions;
  • Define, negotiate, and formalize new partnership agreements and renewals in collaboration with PPF leadership and the relevant teams.

 

Relationship management and partnership implementation:

 

  • Cultivate a portfolio of PPF corporate partners with the aim of implementing, deepening, and renewing partnerships with existing donors, in close collaboration with the relevant PPF teams;
  • Coordinate, internally within the PPF and externally, the implementation of benefits granted to corporate partners, particularly in the months leading up to the annual event (speaking opportunities, partner sessions, visibility, etc.);
  • Encourage and support, where relevant, the meaningful participation of corporate partners in PPF programs and initiatives, in close collaboration with PPF teams.

 

Reporting:

 

  • Lead the drafting and submission of donor reports, in close collaboration with the relevant PPF teams;
  • Coordinate the preparation and sending of tax receipts, where applicable, in collaboration with the finance and administrative departments.

 

PROFILE

 

  • Substantial professional experience (8 to 10 years) across fundraising, partnerships, project/account management, business development, and events – ideally in an international context – and for :
    • Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager: targeting businesses;
    • Senior Institutional Partnerships Manager: targeting governments, major agencies and philanthropies.
  • Extensive experience or very good knowledge of the private sector, business objectives and operations;
  • Bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred) in a relevant field;
  • Bilingual in English and French (written and spoken);
  • Excellent writer and editor;
  • At ease with Microsoft Office, generally digitally savvy.

  • Interested in and up to date on global affairs;
  • Highly organised;
  • Can manage complex relationships and projects;
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment;
  • Able to prioritize and meet tight deadlines;
  • Knowledge of the global and European philanthropic landscape would be a plus;
  • A thoughtful and collaborative team player.

 

CONDITIONS

 

  • Full-time contract (CDI), starting as soon as possible.
  • 50% reimbursement of:
    • luncheon vouchers;
    • transport pass;
    • the association’s health insurance scheme.

 

The offices of the permanent secretariat of the Paris Peace Forum are located in Paris (15th arrondissement). It will be possible to work from home for a maximum of 2 days per week, subject to approval by management.
