Global Full-stack aquaculture platform

Aquaconnect enables data-driven solutions using Artificial intelligence and satellite remote sensing to improve aquaculture productivity and value chain transparency. The project aims to drive sustainability at the farm level: they work with 60,000+ fish and shrimp farmers across coastal states of India. Their programs bring better access to farmers to adopt sustainable farming through a package of practices to improve their farm productivity, optimize the farm inputs usage, reduce production costs and improve their profit margins up to 10%. The project brings efficiency to the aquaculture value chain, through tech intervention, Aquaconnect creates efficient market linkages for farmers to access farm inputs, low-interest credit, and insurance and sell their produce to seafood buyers with traceability. Aquacconect could enable a formal credit program for value chain stakeholders retailers and seafood buyers to upscale business.
