The "Belt and the Road" (Silk roads) is an abbreviation for "Silk Road Economic Belt" and "21st Century Maritime Silk Road". In 2013, Chinese President Xi Jinping proposed a collaborative initiative for the construction of the "Silk Road Economic Belt" and the "21st Century Maritime Silk Road". For President Macron, the initiative is "a vision of globalization that has the the potential to stabilize certain regions". Over the last five years, the Belt and Road Initiative has been continuously strengthened and China has signed cooperation documents with more than 100 countries and international organizations with the aim of working together to develop the Belt and Road initiative. 1.How does the "Belt and the Road" constitute a new path for the development of multilateralism in today's world? 2. How does the "Belt and the Road" contribute to globalization and global free trade to achieve greater development? 3. How can the "Belt and the Road" contribute to the economic development, peace, stability and environmental governance of the countries along the road? This project will be presented at a stand at the Paris Peace Forum by the Chinese Embassy in France, with the support of the Committee for Development and Reform of China and the presence of HE Mr. ZHAI Jun (Ambassador of China to France)
