The proposed project, ComprasGPT, aims to enhance decision-making in Ecuador's public procurement sector, which is burdened by frequently changing regulations and laws. Targeting public officials and businesses interested in procurement, the tool simplifies navigation through complex legal frameworks, enabling more efficient participation. The long-term objective is to promote transparency, reduce errors in public procurement, and foster broader engagement in the bidding process. Early results show strong interest from over 500 procurement professionals which are already using this solution, highlighting a clear need for such a tool. Key partners include public sector agencies and legal experts. The project's desired impact is improved procurement efficiency and a more inclusive process.
