Dr. Piers D. Millett, is Executive Director of the International Biosecurity and Biosafety Initiative for Science. He is a certified biorisk management professional. Previously, he was Deputy Head of the Implementation Support Unit for the Biological Weapons Convention, Vice President for Responsibility for iGEM Foundation, and set up and ran a successful science policy consultancy. Piers holds advanced degrees in International Relations and Affairs, Research Methodology, and International Politics and Security Studies. He has a BSc in Microbiology.
