Patrick Dupoux is currently leading BCG Africa. He is also the Head of the Global Development topic, driving work across a range of issues from economic development, agriculture, financial inclusion, gender economic empowerment to infrastructure. Together with the BCG GAMMA teams, they leverage AI and technology to solve social, economic and climate-related problems. He joined BCG in 2001 and have worked across Africa in a range of industries including industrial goods, consumer goods, energy and agriculture for private, public and social sector clients. Patrick founded BCG's Casablanca office in 2009 and was appointed Head of BCG in Africa in July 2017. In this role, He lead BCG’s development across the continent and drive research on the emergence of Africa and the ways in which companies can succeed in the context of Africa’s broader plans for expansion. Before BCG, Patrick worked with the World Bank in Africa, with BNPP in project Finance, as well as for the Suez group, providing water and sanitation services to the low income population of Buenos Aires. Expertise: International strategy, economic development, infrastructure, climate and sustainability.
