CEO and co-founder of the journalism and communications project MUY WASO. Communication studies professional and journalist with diplomas in “Digital Media for Education” and “Women’s Rights and Journalism.” In 2021, she joined the co-creation team of DW Akademie’s open source software called ‘Colmena,’ which provides a solution package for community media in the Global South. Since 2023, she has been leading a national media and information literacy training project to counter disinformation and hate speech with community radio, alternative media, and feminist and LGBTIQ+ content creators in the rural and peri-urban areas of Bolivia. She is currently part of the Advisory Board of the DW Akademies’ Global Reference Group. Also this year was selected as part of the first cohort of The Latin American Network of Journalism for the Digital Rights: Red Access.
