Dr. John Kirk Boyd is the Executive Director of Legal Pact for the Future, based in San Francisco, CA. He has three law degrees: J.D. (1985), LL.M (1996) and J.S.D. (2001) from the Univ. of California, Berkeley, School of Law. He is a trial lawyer, and has also appeared and argued at every level of appellate court, including the United States Supreme Court. Dr. Boyd has taught at U.C. Berkeley, and U.C. Santa Barbara and is the author of 2048: Humanities Agreement to Live Together.
