2019 Speakers

The Forum unites hundreds of speakers from around the globe, representing a variety of sectors – local and national governments, international organizations, NGOs, large companies, philanthropy, academia, media, and more. This multi-stakeholder approach ensures a comprehensive balance of sectors, themes, and geographical areas. Everyone, from high profile personalities, project experts and actors of civil society, takes part in open dialogue, standing united in diversity as they discuss solutions rather than problems.

The Forum serves as a platform upon which state and non-state actors engage in transnational cooperation for collective action. Renowned speakers are brought together to lend their expertise in a dynamic program covering both precise questions as well as transversal topics.

HEADS
OF STATE AND GOVERNMENT

A portion of the 2019 speakers directly represent state and local governments. Dialogue between Heads of State and Government, project leaders, and participants from all over the world will take place in various formats, sharing governance ideas in their own countries, and exchanging with academics and experts in various masterclasses and roundtable contributions.

LEADERS
OF INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS

This year, speakers also represent international organizations, gathering to lend their expertise in close exchange on global governance issues.

OTHER ACTORS
OF GLOBAL GOVERNANCE

There will also be a rich variety of speaker profiles representing NGOs of all sizes, media, academia and research, philanthropy, global companies, trade unions and employers’ associations, and religious organizations, uniting to discuss and promote innovative solutions to global governance challenges.
