Panel
The resilience of health systems when facing pandemic threats largely depends on the pivot capacities of their routine systems, characterized by the "Always On" agenda. In the context of a rising climate where infectious disease outbreaks will happen more frequently, it is crucial to build end-to-end resilient health systems, from detection, supply chain and R&D to delivery of primary health care services by well-resourced healthcare workers. This panel will be dedicated to presenting local, regional, and global strategies to advance the “Always On” agenda. Participants will discuss ways to implement prevention, surveillance, and vaccine manufacturing programs to enhance our collective preparedness and build pandemic and climate resilient health systems.
