Roundtable
In the face of food crises and climate change, the impact on agriculture and access to food is at an increasingly critical stage. Recognizing the pivotal role of women in sustaining life on our planet, this roundtable aims to shed light on their significant contributions to agriculture and the 2030 Agenda. This session will showcase the transformative power of women-led projects and highlight successful and inspiring solutions from around the world in North Africa, Indonesia, Sierra Leone, Nepal or rural India, which can inspire other actors globally. By addressing gender equality, promoting sustainable agriculture, creating economic growth opportunities, empowering communities and perpetuating traditions and knowledge, these initiatives amplify the voices of women working towards change and paving the way for a more resilient and inclusive future.
