Roundtable
Pervasive disparities in public policies across health, education, wealth, gender, and race, present a significant threat to realizing the transformative potential of AI. Concerted global efforts are needed to ensure that the development and use of AI serve peaceful and prosperous societies everywhere. However, these efforts can only be fruitful if the experiences and knowledge from the majority of the world are included. To achieve this, it is essential to move beyond the confines of the leadership of a small group of countries only and embrace a more expansive and inclusive global framework. This session brings together a diverse array of actors to explore innovative strategies that enable a multi-stakeholder approach to promote equitable AI in the realm of public policy. Join us as we collectively work towards a future where AI in public policy is marked by diversity, inclusion, and equity.
