Embedding the SDGs at the core of business: from following to leading

Crafting peace and building a safer world

From large multinational corporations to small and medium-sized enterprises, the commitment of the business community is essential for the achievement of th eSDGs. In a collective effort to build back better from the global pandemic and to overcome the triple planetary crisis, it has become critical for businesses to incorporate sustainability practices into their operations and set ambitious targets in terms of human rights, labor, climate, and anti-corruption principles (aligned with the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact). This session gathers representatives from the private sector, international organizations and civil society, and will showcase best practices examples from companies and possible solutions to accelerate the global collective impact of corporate sustainability at the mid-way point to 2030.
