People Power: Collective Intelligence in a New Era of International Co-operation
12 November 2018
1:00 pm – 2:00 pm
Gone are the days when Intergovernmental Organisations (IGOs) could work with governments alone in reaching global agreements. In a new era of international co-operation, citizens mobilise across borders and play a key role in sparking change. Today, bringing different voices to the table is not optional, it is essential to creating sustained impact. This workshop, convened by the OECD, will address the ways in which IGOs can best harness collective intelligence, drawing inspiration from citizen-centric initiatives that help bridge the divide between global and individual.
