Ms Lene Wetteland is Head of the Documentation and Accountability Hub of the Norwegian Helsinki Committee, where she has been working since 2009. She has since then worked closely with civil society activists in Ukraine, Armenia, Russia and Central Asia, and monitored elections, demonstrations and human rights violations. Now, the main focus is on the diligent documentation of war crimes in Ukraine, and the close cooperation and capacity building of Ukrainian partner organisations in the process. Ms Wetteland has formerly worked in the OSCE/ODIHR and studied in Russia and Kyrgyzstan. She speaks Norwegian, English, Russian and some Armenian.
