Elena Ambrosi Turbay is a lawyer and specialist in international humanitarian law and international affairs.She worked as thematic director of the Colombian Office of the High Commissioner for Peace, where she served as deputy negotiator in the process between the government and the FARC.She has also worked in the Ministry of Defense, where she held various positions: private secretary to the deputy minister, advisor, and director of human rights.In 2017, she was awarded the Hilary Clinton Prize for supporting women, victims, and other minorities during the peace process. That same year, she assumed the position of Delegate Prosecutor for the Follow-up of the Peace Agreement and Victims' Rights. In 2021, she assumed the technical coordination of the Recommendations Chapter of the Commission for the Clarification of Truth, Coexistence, and Reconciliation in Colombia. She has served as a consultant on human rights, victims' rights, security, and peacebuilding.
