Description
Most refugees worldwide are stuck in protracted situations, oftentimes as unsuitable for emergency relief as for longer term solutions. Enabling refugees to work in their host country is a way to address both the development needs of host communities and countries as well as the humanitarian needs of refugees. Long-term solutions aimed at providing adequate access to employment and education enhance independence, allowing refugees to better provide for themselves and their families, preserve dignity, and build a meaningful future. The panel will explore such mutually beneficial opportunities for economic growth.
