Description
The Paris Call for Trust and Security in Cyberspace has since its inception set a new standard for multistakeholder discussions for cybersecurity norms. Through the Paris Call Community of Action numerous stakeholders have over the past two years sought to collect and demonstrate how the different principles could be implemented, and implemented well. Ensuring that these lessons are shared and linked to cybersecurity capacity building initiatives is the logical next step in ensuring longevity and global success of the Paris Call. However, how do we link this initiative to the ongoing work on capacity building? How do we ensure that the effort is relevant to stakeholders around the world. Our panel will seek to answer these and other challenging questions, with a specific focus on implementation across Africa.
