Description
The pandemic has further challenged, to the brink of collapse, the alignment of finance with the SDGs and Paris Agreement. With external finance to developing countries expected to drop by USD700 billion in 2020, what can be done to stop the bleeding and “build back better”? The French Presidency of the G7, the OECD and UNDP have developed a framework to better align finance with the SDGs and respond to the challenge of financing sustainable development in times of crisis and beyond. A panel of eminent persons will announce and discuss an ambitious agenda to shift the trillions available in the world economy towards the SDGs, and make finance better work for the sustainable development of our economies.
