Selected project

The SITA project supports African exports to the growing emerging Indian market and helps African businesses to strengthen their productive capacity and competitiveness and move away from unprocessed primary commodities. The project will operate in Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, and Rwanda. Together with African and Indian businesses, the International Trade Centre (ITC) carefully selects a number of labor-intensive goods – leather, textiles, cotton – to tackle the problems that are holding back these goods from being sold in the Indian market by providing market information, technical support, skills training, branding and investment.
