  • Scale-up project
OYA, a joint UNIDO and FAO program, proposes an integrated approach for the creation of quality employment and self-employment opportunities for African young professionals in agriculture and agribusiness. Taking Covid-19’s economic impact into account, the youth-sensitive analysis serves to identify agricultural and agribusiness opportunities, including innovative markets, digitalization of services and SME support, added-value production, and eLearning. It aims to mitigate the Covid-19 impacts on the young labor force by enabling and training young workers into professionals who can successfully respond to the pressing needs of the labor market and contribute to the growth and development of SMEs.
