  • Scale-up project
The project aims to ensure that media outlets and journalists can produce quality public interest content that reaches larger audiences, including the most marginalized communities during the Covid-19 pandemic in Sub-Saharan Africa. Free Press Unlimited provides subgrants to create content and conduct factchecking and educational broadcasting. Knowledge sharing platforms have been established to facilitate learning among media and journalists. The initiative also tracks attacks against journalists and fosters reforms to guarantee press freedom.
