The Paris hub: How France can help sustainable development move forward

Saturday 13 november 2021 09:30 - 10:15
To build a more sustainable and fair model of development, we need an interconnected multilateral system that provides concrete solutions in line with the Sustainable Development Goals. This system needs to take into account the diversity and complexity of our world, made up of intertwined challenges, be they economic, social, cultural or educational. France already hosts, in Paris, a significant number of international organizations which cover, by their nature and mandate, a large part of these issues. This session will allow these international organizations to share their vision on these issues, to highlight the singularity and strengths of Paris, and to discuss opportunities for developing this unique positioning.
