Risking repeat: The urgency of better pandemic preparedness

Thursday 11 november 2021 14:30 - 15:15
The Covid-19 pandemic caught public health systems off guard and threw the world into crisis response mode. As epidemic control and recovery grows, questions turn to how to avoid a repeat of the catastrophe. While the time is right to capitalize on innovative practices and tools born from the crisis, there is also a risk of global health priorities losing momentum and resources as urgency wanes.
