Managing the fall out of the crisis on populations: strengthening Eastern Europe’s resilienceFriday 11 november 2022 11:30 - 12:15
Eastern European countries have this year been at the fore front of the conflict in Ukraine. This conflict has amplified the consequences of already complex crises, ranging from the pandemic that started in 2020, to population displacements, economic slowdowns as well as political instability. The region has been in the position of first responder to immediate consequences of the conflict - sudden influx of refugees to absorb, strategic energy dependencies and security threats at their border to face… - which directly impact their populations. This panel discussion will focus on ways to strengthen the resilience of Eastern European countries, with regards to populations and civil society.
