Achieving the SDGs: South-South and triangular cooperation in the Decade of Action

Friday 12 november 2021 10:45 - 11:45
South-South Cooperation (SSC) and Triangular Cooperation (TrC) are considered effective international cooperation modalities to support the development of the Global South. The importance of SSC and TrC has been recognized through several international declarations and resolutions, such as the recent BAPA+40 Outcome Document. The session will explore ways to enhance the global architecture of both SSC and TrC and emphasize the complementarity with North-South Cooperation in the post-Covid-19 era. It will also recognize the availability of proven development solutions in the Global South that can be replicated to tackle development challenges and achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.
