The Paris Peace Forum is a multi-stakeholder platform launched in 2018 that aims to respond to global challenges through, in particular, a large-scale annual event. Throughout the year, the Forum works to strengthen the governance of global commons such as climate, space or oceans, and to improve international management of global challenges, particularly those of digital and disruptive technologies. Its annual event, in November, brings together heads of state, government and international organizations, as well as leaders of civil society and the private sector, to discuss political initiatives and concrete projects, with an emphasis on the participation of the global South.

The team of the Permanent Secretariat of the association, composed of varied and versatile profiles (diplomacy, public relations, communication, programming, operations, etc.), is currently looking for a Projects Officer” to reinforce its teams.

The person recruited will be responsible for the following tasks:


  • Providing support for the participation of project leaders selected for a major international event on Artificial Intelligence:
    • establishing of the Expert committee;
    • launching the Call for Solutions;
    • preparing project leaders’ participation in the event (content analysis, development of the PPF offer, etc.);
    • mobilizing and animating the community of project leaders participating in the event;
    • welcoming and following up with project leaders during the event;
    • preparing content for the annual report and
    • supporting the development of communication materials for selected projects.


  • Providing support for the Scale-up Program (SCUP program):
    • supporting for the coordination of the Scale-Up program (SCUP) (planning and facilitating of monthly workshops, end-term debriefs) and for closure of the 2024 cohort program (evaluation process, annual report);
    • preparing the 2024 cohort’s participation in the seventh edition Paris Peace Forum;
    • providing support for the selection of the 2025 cohort (setting up the jury and selection tools, identifying relevant projects) and
    • supporting the launch of the SCUP 2025 cohort (setting up monitoring tools, information materials for projects and mentors, preparation of launch sessions).


  • Providing support for the overall operations of the Projects team:
    • assisting in the planning, preparation and follow-up of meetings related to project selection and SCUP support;
    • mobilizing and animating the community of former project leaders;
    • note-taking, drafting minutes or reports as needed;
    • monitoring the generic email inbox of the projects department;
    • updating internal data and information management tools;
    • any other task assigned in relation to the portfolio and the smooth operation of the Projects unit.



  • Education: 5 years of higher education – master’s degree, IEP or specialized master’s degree
  • Areas of specialization: Areas of specialization: international relations, political science, international law, development, international cooperation, etc. Experience in AI would be preferred.
  • Proficiency in English and French, both written and oral required (C2 level or equivalent);
  • Mastery of office software (Microsoft Office Suite) and digitally savvy.
  • Previous experience desired: experience (minimum 2 years) in the field and/or within a governmental, multilateral or NGO institution, in the field of international project management, in France or abroad
  • Experience in organizing a forum or conference would be appreciated

Full-time, fixed-term contract for a period of 8 months with a starting date of 19th August.

Salary: 33, 000 euros gross per year.

50% reimbursement of:

  • luncheon vouchers;
  • transport pass;
  • the association’s health insurance scheme.                                    

The offices of the permanent secretariat of the Paris Peace Forum are located in Paris (15th arrondissement). It will be possible to telecommute for a maximum of 2 days per week, subject to approval by management.
