Governing in- and on-orbit activities: a path towards space traffic coordination

Protecting the planet and the people

Among the many evolutions of the space sector in the last decade, the development of in- and on-orbit services offers new opportunities to develop more sustainable space operations. But at the same time, the rise of missions with non-linear operating orbits is rapidly increasing the need for minimum rules of the road in orbit. As a critical area where better governance is in itself an orbital debris mitigation measure, this roundtable will present the first outcomes of the Net Zero Space working group dedicated to this endeavor – paving the way for better space traffic management and coordination.
