Head of Policy Initiatives, BRAC

Speaker

At BRAC - the world's largest development organisation from the Global South - I lead global policy engagement on the climate crisis. I spent six years helping to build BRAC's Ultra-Poor Graduation Initiative, where I played a central role in crafting our strategy, raising $60M+, building our operating model, and our global policy engagement focused on ending extreme poverty through scaling Graduation through government adoption. I also provided technical assistance to a number of government and INGO partners. Previously I managed communications and knowledge management for BRAC's microfinance programme. In that role I served as co-Chair of the Microfinance CEO Working Group’s Communications Council, and as Director of the Microfinance Network. I have a Bachelors (Hons) in Politics from the School of Oriental and African Studies, and a Masters of International Public Policy from University College London.
