The Paris Peace Forum launches a call for applications for its first hackathon around global governance and financial transparency issues.
A three days-hackathon on financial data transparency will be held at the occasion of the first edition of the Paris Peace Forum to mobilize collective intelligence in the fields of social, computer, data and economic sciences.
Guided by mentors and facilitators, participants will respond to challenges launched by partner organizations auround four themes:
• Transparency of international organizations budgets
• Transparency of major international events budgets
• Transparency of public procurement procedures
• Communication of financial data to the public
In teams made-up of two to six participants, they will have the objective to respond to those challenges by developing prototypes and unpresented digital solutions.
The call for applications is open to experts, engineers, programmers or designers, until 19 October 2018 at 6 pm, Paris Time (CET).
The hackathon will be held within the Framework of the Paris Peace Forum from 11 to 13 November 2018 at La Grande Halle de La Villette at Paris.
