Four months ago, the Paris Peace Forum launched its first call for applications addressed to global governance actors. This call for applications has proven a success with 900 projects from 116 different countries presented as governance solutions on peace and security, environment, development, new technologies and inclusive economy challenges.
Presided by Trisha Shetty (also Vice-President of the Steering Committee) and comprised of Pascal Lamy, President of the Steering Committee of the Paris Peace Forum, Justin Vaïsse, President of the Paris Peace Forum, Nora Mueller, Representing of The Körber Foundation and Vanessa Scherrer, Representing of Sciences Po, the Selection Committee met on 3 September 2018 to evaluate the submitted applications. The Selection Committee has based its evaluation on the quality of the projects as well as on geographical balance, diversity of the project leaders profiles and project themes.
Selected projects leaders will have a booth to make their ideas known and to push their initiative further with experts, decision-makers while participating to debates which will bring together global governance actors during the three days of the Forum.
